The Association of Professional Piercers: This is a nonprofit organization is dedicated to professional body piercing, with particular regard to the health, education, and safety issues involved. They train and certify piercers all over the world and have a search engine to help you locate licensed professional piercers in your area!
Jinx Proof Tattoos & Piercings: Jinx Proof is a very nice Tattoo and piercing shop located in the Georgetown district of Washington, DC. The shop is SUPER clean and the tattoo artists and piercers are very professional. I can't vouch for the tattoos but I highly recommend them if you are looking to get a piercing.
Pierceit: This is a nice site with a lot of information on body piercing and even has pictures and contributions by visitors to the site.
Washington Blade: This is the most informative and widely read free Gay and Lesbian newspaper publication in the greater Washington Metropolitan Area.

For Otaku Only

AnimEigo: AnimEigo is my favorite Anime company in America. The titles they carry are one of a kind and always entertaining. The quality of their products is unmatched in the industry, though many of their competitors have begun to try and match them.
CD Japan: CD Japan is the place to go for direct from Japan Anime DVDs and CDs. While the DVDs are region 2 (and not playable in the U.S.) the CDs are the main attraction for Otaku all over the world. Their prices are reasonable and they carry almost every title currently available in Japan.
Right Stuf International, Inc.: The Right Stuf is one of the top sellers of Anime nationwide. They carry almost every title available in the America, in addition to great merchandise, often at great discount prices.
Transportation Hobby Collectibles Online: This is a great site dedicated to transportation collectables in addition to carrying exclusive products from The International Sushi machine and international actress and singer Caroline O'Connor. Definitely check this one out!

The International Dyslexia Association: This is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping individuals with dyslexia, their families and the communities that support them.

All Music Guide (AMG): This is a VERY comprehensive guide to musical artists who have released material in the U.S. It includes artist biographies, discographies, photos, hit singles, special projects, crossover work, and much more!
CNET: One of the most highly respected and comprehensive technology review sites. They cover everything from software and hardware, to just about every tech gadget you can imagine and even have links to competitive discount vendors. I never make a serious tech purchase without consulting them first.
Emode: This is a fun site that has fun, free personalities quizes. They even have a matchmaking service.
OldVersion.com: This is a great place to find FREE downloads of older free software applications. They even provide the latest version of each software as well. They are invaluable if you upgrade a program like Instant Messenger and the upgrade causes problems with your system. I highly recomend checking them out.
The Onion: Billed as "America's Finest News Source," The Onion is a satiracle publication dedicated to making fun out of the news. Their articles are a riot. I highly recomend checking them out.
