RCN Rage
I am absolutely incensed right now. My Internet Service Provider, RCN, has shut my fucking service off!!* Those mother fuckers sent me only ONE statement, which arrived two days ago, saying that my account was overdue and that my service would be shut off by March 10th if I didn't pay immediately. Today is February 27th!!
This is so fucking wrong on so many levels. I never received the first statement in the mail (nor was their an e-mail sent) so I wasn't even aware that it was due. usually the statement comes in March, not January (I am assuming that is when the original statement was sent)! I have been a responsible customer of theirs for six years, and yet they have treated me as if I am some bill skipper. And what is this shit of shutting my service off before the cut off date?!?
I called up RCN's customer service department but no luck in getting a live voice on the phone. Apparently they have done away with their 24 hour customer service feature since the last time I had to call them. I ended up having to pay over the phone using some automated system. because their new customer service hours are between 9 am to 5 pm I won't get my service back on until sometime tomorrow! I am so pissed off right now I could kill!
