Bonus!
I'm feeling very high right now. No not THAT kind of high people. I mean euphoric and happy. The reason for my jubilation? This afternoon my company gave us the amounts of our annual bonuses. These bonuses aren't guaranteed every year but for many years we have gotten them like clockwork around this time of the year.
I have been long anticipating my bonus. I knew it would be significant based on last year's amount. What I didn't expect was exactly how much they ended up giving me. It was 3 times the amount of last year's! I am so fucking psyched right now!!
I won't actually receive the bonus until next week, but that's OK, because it will come in just in time for me to use it pay off the last of my credit card debt. The down side to this is that almost the entire bonus amount will go to bow off the debt, but the upside is that I won't be in debt anymore!! I am very happy. I think I'll celebrate tonight with some pizza...
