My Sister: Queen of the Fag Hags
Despite her denial of the fact, my sister Laura is clearly a fag hag. In fact, I think she may just be Queen of the Fag Hags. It came up in a conversation tonight. I don't remember what we were talking about but somehow she started telling me about this crush he has on Eric Roberts, Julia Roberts (presumably Gay and definitely ugly) brother who is also an actor. Apparently dear sis has seen him in several movies on the Lifetime Network.
Already this conversation was not looking good. While I admit I didn't know who Eric Roberts was or that he was gay until she told me it cracked me up none-the-less how addicted she is to the overly dramatic movies on that station. But her crush on Eric Roberts (who she didn't know was Gay until recently) and her passion for the Lifetime Network's programming isn't the sole basis for my conclusion that she is a fag hag. No it was the things she said in defense of NOT being a fag hag that lead me to my conclusions.
In defending her love of the Lifetime Network Laura was able to ramble off the cast lists (which featured all older actresses adored by Gay men) and titles of her favorite Lifetime movies (also adored by gay men) like Mother At 16. LOL She also admitted to loving the US version of Queer As Folk for a very long time before she (like the rest of the nation) got bored with it.
But it gets better. In further discussing the movies and her favorite actresses that star in them she said (and I quote), "I love Delta Burke. She is like the ultimate southern woman!" OK who else but a Gay man or a fag hag would say that? Personally I love Delta Burke and I agree with Laura 100% but I'm GAY! In fact it was this remark that made me crown her Queen Of The Fag Hags. LOL
I ask you people, what non-fag hag 16 year old girl do you know adores Delta Burke, has crushes on Gay men, and watches Gay cable soap operas? None that I know of. Despite her protests I am still convinced the child is a fag hag. She hates that I say that, but it's true and there is nothing wrong with it. She just needs to "come out of the closet" so to speak and embrace it and be proud of the fact!
