I Am A Design God
Every now and again one has to blow their own horn (no, not THAT horn you sickos). For me, today is one of those days.
My company has a seminar coming up in Europe next year. The seminar materials have been printed and the bare bones shell of the website has been completed and put up. The only problem is it was dull and unattractive. We're talking brown on beige with some egg yolk yellow mixed in. I was asked to do further development on this site and if so desired dress it up a bit.
So I went to work and after two days of effort have completely redesigned the site. It still has the same basic format but instead of all that brown I changed it up by using a deep crimson instead. And because the seminar is being held in Greece I added this kick as sky blue Greek Key border around the site. The brochures for the conference had this design (hence the color choice) but I had to tweak it a little. I even did research on historic Greek Key designs and how they are used so that my implementation of border authentic.
Can I just say that I am a design God? This site totally rocked by the time I was done with it. I am a very happy designer and quite proud of myself. I just had to share.

Yes, you can blow your own horn at any ol' time (No matter how you want to read that, sicko :P). You go, you design God!
