Dude, Where's My Order?
OK I am MAJORLY pissed off. Last month I preordered the first season of Roseanne on DVD (as a birthday gift for Lou) and the remastered version of Barbra Streisand's Guilty along with her upcoming release Guilty Pleasures from Amazon.com. Roseanne and Guilty were released on August 30, while Guilty Pleasures is due out on September 20.
I placed my order weeks ago and still no items So I decided to check with Amazon.com and see what's the hold up, especially since I am meeting with Lou tomorrow night and want to give him his birthday gift.
Turns out they haven't shipped yet and aren't going to until after September 20! I was livid and when I inquired why, I was told it was because my order is set to ship in a few shipments as possible under the Free Super Saver Shipping guidelines. Their idea of "as few shipments as possible" because it will be one not two shipments. Never mind the fact that two of items are available in the stores while the other won't hit for another MONTH!
I am so pissed off I could scream! Had I know this is the bullshit they were going to pull I would have separated the orders. BASTARDS!! Even worse is that I am doing a post-birthday gift exchange with Lou tomorrow night and have no gift to give him. I know he'll understand but that's not the point! Those first two items should have been here
